damn bro what is up with this team. time to tank/give the young guys a chance (sorry to sorokin who is hard carrying). i want to see iskhakov or dufour come up, since we have basically nothing on the wing and my interest in ross playing on a regular basis is zero. i know lou doesn't want to do it to save cap for the deadline or whatever tf but like if this much money is on your IR might be time for LTIR for pelech

It is certainly not time to tank, the team is winning despite the injuries and climbed their way back into a playoff spot. They will (should) only continue to get healthier...it can't get much worse. I just hope that Lou makes the appropriate roster decisions when that time comes (Fasching over Johnston, Wotherspoon over Salo, etc). I still believe we will be adding at the deadline

The team is winning because of the injuries - Fasching, Raty, and Holmstrom have all had above average middle 6 impacts since entering the lineup . Clutter and palmieri were barely replacement level.

Getting healthy means clutter is going to get his spot back which means the isles will roll out that liability of a 4th line. Isles 5v5 play has improved since that line was broken up.

Correct me if I’m wrong but you like to mention the fact that Lambert rewards guys based on their play. Fasching won his spot fair and square. Clutterbuck and Palmieri won’t just walk in and retake their jobs.

Clutterbuck will absolutely come in for Johnston. If anything I think Bailey will be the odd man out again. Either that or Palmieri rides the pine.
