the Debrincat trade was the most 1 sided trade any of us have seen in years! using that as a reference isn’t realistic.

While I can see the Rangers possibly looking for a veteran LHD at some point, it won't be a Top pairing one. They have K'Andre and Lindgren up front. Definitely would go with a cheaper option for the bottom pairing.

Those 1st Rounders will only be used by the Rangers to upgrade at RW, if needed. And if Kakko and Lafreniere continue to excel the way that they have thus far, that might not even be necessary.

Any off season where MTL trades their 2023 pick is a fail. Love Meier, still not worth even a top 10 pick this year.
