-JVR can most likely be had, fully retained, for a 3rd rounder. This is one of the biggest overpays I've seen in quite some time.

-Boston passes on this - I get the feeling if they're in a position to move Hall, they'd do it for futures, not older roster players. They also have zero need in goal (barring injury) so Varlamov has minimal value for them.
