At this point the Zaitsev deal won't happen, you would have needed to do that earlier in the offseason. RD is full up on the Ducks now. Talk to us again at the TDL.

Sure we can. I feel as though the 2024 2nd round pick will be about the same value as a 3rd. Plus, the pick doesn't exactly help Ottawa now. The player picked won't help until 2026 anyways.

I just don't want to tempt DJ into thinking he's an option anymore. Rather just move on from him ASAP.
