honestly i could see it making sense for both teams, but with toews only having two years left colorado probably wins this deal. doubt it happens but an interesting idea!

Lundell has two seasons left on his ELC. Toews has two years until UFA status. I don’t think there is a chance in hell florida would consider this.

My idea here is that Florida has the biggest need filled in this trade, top 4 left d, so they should be urgent to make a trade like this. That means they have to overpay a little because the Avs sure as heck don’t need to do this.

no need for the avs to do this. toews is on one of the best contracts for a dman, him and makar are also one of the best pairings.
