Why is a Ritchie brother back in a Bruins uniform? Did we not learn anything from employing both of them already? They stink

rather have one of the kids play, just my opinion tho. Personally I hope the 4th line is Freddy-Stud-Steen.

I kind of agree with this. I would also kinda like to see Lysell stay in Junior if he doesn’t get significant ice time with the big club, which is unlikely. Studnicka could be 3RW, and McLaughlin could play 4RW. No need for Brett Ritchie, one of the Bruins’ biggest issues is the logjam at every position for the past few years. Buying depth pieces at the deadline to try and push for cups has stopped them from allowing kids to learn at the NHL level. Studnicka, Steen, and probably even Senyshyn (prior to being moved) should’ve been given better opportunities to earn spots out of camp and in the preseason. Instead, veterans from Free Agency had the inside lane on the final roster spots, year in and year out.

I think attacking free agency and creating the log jam was completely acceptable for the state they were in, who they actually got in free agency is a different story. The issue that happened was instead of moving these prospects they just hoarded them. And I'm not saying anyone you listed was gonna bring anyone significant in but there were times were Studnicka was considered a valuable trade piece that couldve been used.

In terms of Lysell, I hope they line him up with Bergy come opening day. I think its the best spot for him to learn the pro level game. I just think the Bruins have major issues in trusting youth talent in a league thats getting more youthful by the season. Probably a majority of that falls on Cassidy's liking of more veteran players and Sweeney's drafting that resulted in not the greatest of talent.
