That's a steep price to pay for Dunn considering he's one year away from RFA (and a probable raise) and it's basically a cap neutral deal ($4.15M going out, $4M coming in). Especially when you consider that the only skater Dunn spent significant (>60 minutes at even strength) time with and had positive possession numbers was Mark Giordano. You're also selling out Beauvillier at his lowest value - he shot 7.8% last season after scoring at a 12.9% pace coming into last year. If he scores at his career percentage this past season, we're talking about a 20 goal scorer and maybe not so quick to send him packing.
If you're targeting a LHD from Seattle, Carson Soucy would probably be the guy. He's cheaper for the one year left on his deal ($2.75M), will probably re-sign in the $4Mish range, and had stronger possession numbers than Dunn. I think the acquisition cost could be lower for him as well - I think you can just send Seattle futures for a pending UFA like him.
