Simmonds likely won’t get any value, and I doubt he’s moved. Likely plays 10-20 games next year and provides value in the locker room
Muzz better off being held onto, as it will cost something likely to trade him rn and he’s due for rebound if healthy, and if he’s injured long term again he could very well retire
Holl is probably worth a 2nd considering he plays top 4 mins and provides “intangibles”. Don’t need to retain salary. I’d expect a return similar to what Kulak got at the deadline.
Not trading Matthews and especially not for a 2nd liner and a d man who I wouldn’t call top 25. If Arizona adds in their 1st this year (1st overall), next year (unprotected), and more than I’m sure Leafs could consider it but honestly Matthews is not a guy you should ever move unless he says he wants out. Plus Arizona shouldn’t spend their whole team and future on 1 player.
Kerfoot is worth probably an early 2nd + something based on his play this year, a versatile middle 6 forward who put up 50 points is definitely solid.
Mrazek will cost to dump and Allen is not the solution to any of our goaltending problems
Brodie is better and younger than Suter and has less term (which in the case of 2 guys who are on the wrong side of 30, this is a good thing)
Geekie would be a good add, probably costs a solid asset
