    Krejci has a NMC and I doubt he waives to go to CAR. He's made it known he wants to retire as a Bruins and go back home after this contract is up.

    I know it's unlikely, but I think he brings the value they would want in return. I like him on the Bruins, especially when he's healthy, but Hanifin is a solid LHD that could play alongside Carlo/McAvoy for 10/15 years, so I would at least explore it if I were the B's front office.

    You've just given reasons why the Canes wouldn't want Krejci. Not too many deals are made with so much money going to one team without similar money coming back to the other.

    The Hurricanes want a young impact forward for Hanifin...that doesn't mean a 30+ yr old center with a $7+ million cap hit that is good to miss 5-10 games a year. Unless there is a prospect that CAR loves, they are asking for Pastrnak in a deal for Hanifin.

    I'm wouldn't be looking for a homerun trade on the left side, but I also and very high on Zboril and Lauzon.

    I'm not so sure CAR will move Hanifin, unless they could land a young player who is the same age. With the d prospects Boston has coming up, not sure Hanifin is even needed for right now.
