Description

For this to all happen, everything would have to go the Leafs' way.

Muzzin is coming back, so hopefully he stays healthy during the playoffs and raises his value. I know that he has a NTC, but if he were willing to waive it, then I would trade him in a heartbeat. Not that I don't like him, but the Leafs can't afford him.

Campbell will turn his season around to a certain degree, so I feel that this contract is fair for him. The Sandin and Liljegrin signings are bridge contracts, so they are cheaper for the time being, until the cap rises and we lose the big signings.

Kase signed for so low because of his injury issues, but he is a very valuable player to this team. Same with Mikheyev and Blackwell, they all signed to be mainly defensive forwards with offensive upside.

The defense and goaltending are all solid, so at the deadline next year, the main needs would be a top-6 forward and maybe another goalie.
