Description
Game 6 spin-o-rama aside, Derms is a solid player. Sucks, but he’s fallen out of favour here in Toronto.
Although, I will say he had a good game tonight. He was CLEARING THE NET!! That’s a separate issue though.

I’m not totally sure why this one stings as much as it does, honestly. It just does I guess.
Obviously, hockey is a business.
But at the end of the day Travis Dermott is a person, and I wish him nothing but the best in his new home, as it’s very heavily rumoured he will be gone by Monday.

+ here are some lines we should try.
Mostly a joke. I would like to see Knies and Abruzzese get a few games, just to see how they look, though.

    Hate we chose him over Aho (Thanks Hunter) and some of his passing decisions

    But still he put in the work every night and was a great guy on and off the ice.

    Hopefully on his new team he takes that next step we all know he would.

    If Aho was drafted by the Leafs he could have turned into another Bracco.

    I hate all these what if's ?

    Same goes for T. Rask to the B's for Raycoft.

    Rask stays a Leaf, would he be good, or just a lost cause like J. Pogge.

    Yes, going to be sad to see Dermott traded. I still believe there is a top 4 Dman in there. With Rielly and Muzzin here plus the growth of Sandin, Dermott never going to reach his potential here.


    If this team is going to have any fukcin success, Tavares NEEDS to play with Marner. I don’t know how many more games Keefe needs to watch.

    As ironically as soon as Matthews came back everyone became lazy again. But that game we saw against Carolina was like every line channeled their inner Matthews and played arguably their best game of the season. Tonight not even close. Left Kallgren out to dry even after he tried his hardest to bail them out.
