What would it take to add Giroux

-One of Compher or Jost to offset salary

-Either a package involving Helleson and a 2023 1st, or Barron alone would be what I'd assume Philly would want

No need to send Compher or Jost if they can found a third party to retain 50% of Giroux already retained salary, making his cap hit 2,068,750mil.

But shedding JTC would be a godsend. They can replace his spot with a veteran winger that plays better defense and isn't signed to another year at $3.5M.

Idk about that... I wouldn't want to change the locker room when a team is playing this good. It might upset some players if a guy like Compher who has been with the team for many years gets traded somewhere else. In Avs situation I would only like to add to the team.

Probably Jost plus Barron for G at 50%
