Description

- Fire Tippet: Team hasn't improved much with their losing streak under Tippet (11 straight L's). He is also a big reason why the bottom 6 is underperforming as they're barely played and can't gain any chemistry nor confidence when played as little as they do. Tippet also for some reason likes to over play Barrie and Keith when they should be playing sheltered mintues, hurting the oilers defensively.

-Fire Holland: Screwed up the oilers so bad in an offseason where he could have made them a cup contender.

Here's my feelings on the Pens trade:

1) Sure, a 5th is nothing.
2) Koskinen is a little better than DeSmith, but nothing earth shattering, but sure, why not.
3) Retaining 50% still doesn't make this work for the Pens cap situation. Even if you took DeSmith back the Pens wouldn't have enough room, so this trade is not possible if we wanted it.

Buffalo would make that trade.
They only have Jokiharju sign at RHD next year while Pysyk and Miller are UFA's.
IMO Pysyk will sign again if offered a market rate contract, while Miller will be traded and will not want to come back to Buffalo.
Barrie would take his spot and provide a HUGE offensive threat from the RHD.
