I think it makes a lot of sense for Giroux to waive for NYR, they are only 90 mins from where he currently lives and he has a wife and baby that he won't want to move until he makes a decision in free agency, so he can still be close during playoffs. They are also a contender right now and they have the young pieces to send to Philly to get him. I like this deal as a Flyers fan.

No lie I like that Giroux trade. That first line would be fricken fantastic. Kakko goes back with the guys he works best with. Loving the fourth line. Hopefully the kids can hold it down on the 3rd line, that’s the only line that worries me.
