Chytil is a very good player and I think you may be undervaluing him. He actually outscored Dubois last season with less games played. He's younger and on a cheaper contract.

30million isn't enough next year to do what you're saying, anyway. There's just no way. Zibanejad and Fox are going to get 9-10million each. 10-12million is not going to be enough for PLD and Co. And even if it is, you then have Laffy and Miller the following year with not much coming off, as well as addressing any bridge deals

If you're doing it solely to appease the Breadman, I would stick with Strome, who he has had better success with, and has it currently. And I think you'll get Strome cheaper than PLD

Dubios had a miserably down year last season. So saying chytll outscored him doesn’t carry much weight. As for chytll, we have plenty of guys like him and not enough like Dubois. Finally, for signing dubios, I doubt he gets more than 7M and the jets can fit that in with a couple of moves that are already probably happening, no problem.
