Koskinen is buried in the AHL, which saves abbout $1.1M. I would prefer this to a buyout because he only has 1 year left.

There's a market for Garland, don't see Holland giving up this years 1st and not pick until the 4th Round, unless they get a mid or couple mid rd picks in return, AND Archibald will be protected over Khaira more than Likely... And why would you bury Koskinen yet buyout Neal? If you buyout Koskinen he saves to about the same $$ and would only be on the books for this and Next Year, Neal would be dead money for 4 years, I'd suggest doing the opposite, buyout Koskinen, bury Neal's deal-IF you can't get rid of their deals with Seattle or Detroit or someone(obviously with a pick or prospect sweetener in the deal)... Also, don't think the Oilers are willing to give Kassian away in a deal, think he bounces back next season plays a bigger role in the top 9 again and likely produces 15 tucks and close to 40 points, by the looks of things the main group really likes him...

Rangers want grit, but not at that salary. They could pick up someone like Clifford from St. Louis, who makes $1 million.
