It would take a whole lot more for NSH to even consider these deals. Deal to CAR doesn't make sense either for Carolina. Reimer has been better than Freddie. Nashville will probably make the playoffs too so they would be reluctant to deal Ekholm and Jarnkrok.

Canes easily decline,,,,I don't understand that trade at all.
Ekblom gets more if the Nashville sells this year
Leafs say no to getting two OK forwards but have to wait for them to join the lineup. Leafs keep their two forwards with term.

What do you mean you don’t understand it. It makes perfect sense since Leafs fans are over valuing an injured pending UFA and declining goalie they don’t even want any longer.

Easy decline by the Canes, but you should understand it.
