You're definitely right, I just wanted to keep it somewhat realistic because there are no big name centers on the market right now. Palmieri has been brought up in a ton of rumors.

IF the Wild traded Dumba for Schmaltz, I’d throw him on the wing and trade Greenway for Strome. Solves their positional dilemma and doesn’t lose them draft capital in a Palmieri deal. I get why you’d want to replace Dumba with Zub but I think it’s unnecessary. Move Soucy up to play with Brodin and deal with the long term replacement (likely Addison) til next season.

With moves like that, they are more hockey trades and still look to the future so I don’t hate the mindset even if I don’t agree with it.
