Description

Can someone explain why he gets so much love? He is a taller shayne Gostisphere.

Kind of seems like a 30-40pt D man who had one surprisingly good offensive year when he was expected to play no defense.

His advanced numbers are pedestrian. He turns the puck over a lot and doesn't really hit.

Zboril who everyone wrote off - Has Fenwick and Corsi hovering around 60% (I know it's early, but playing 18.5m a night). He doesn't turn the puck over and he hits. Not a ton, but isn't shy. He has been really impressive.

I know too early to tell, but if the Bruins selected Chabot instead of Zboril, Chabot is just getting to the NHL and everyone is wondering why they didn't Draft Zboril who would be entering his 4th year in OTT

Kind of hard to displace Chara, Krug and Grzelcyk.

I see what you're saying but the eye test, for me anyways, is Chabot is pretty awesome. His team is terrible so his stats and underlying numbers reflect that, but he's good

Not to mention Chabot is and has been the only true top 4 d-man in OTT since the start of the 19-20 season. Until this season, Zaitsev was a number 5.

That's not true though. Yes, he is starting in the Ozone more. Most guys in their rookie seasons are protected. Including Chabot who had the same 60/40 split his rookie year.
