I do not want to get into a food fight with you, but I would like to know who would be the first and second pairing RHD?
You may be correct that is too much for Ristolainen, but I do not think he will be moved for anything less than that.

Buffalo could use a #3 center and Ryan played with Skinner in Carolina.

He might cost that much but defense is not something Calgary really needs help with, so we shouldn’t be giving up our 1st for Risto, even if he’s worth that. A team with a weaker PP1 and a hole on the right side of their 2nd pair should be the target for Buffalo to deal Risto. Our top four is Giordano-Andersson Hanifin-Tanev, with Valimaki pushing for a spot in there soon, and that’s pretty solid defensively and offensively. Deals for Ryan or Rittich I could see happening though. The bigger hole we have is we need a right hand shot goal scorer to add to our top 6 (either C or RW), so if we trade our 1st, it will be to address that hole.
