Laine for Sergachev and Johnson

What? Sergachev has been sheltered and has no contract, and will undoubtably ask far too much for the Jets. Throw on Johnson who is all but a negative asset and you're thinking that that could be enough to get a perennial 50 goal scorer (I know he hasn't hit 50 yet but he might as well have)? So the Jets would be capped out but the Right D would still be terrible... got it.

They could do worse but this doesn't really address either need of a 1B type 2C or a top 4 RHD.

The Lightning don't want Laine. Johnson could be offloaded elsewhere and Sergachev would be signed over Laine's cap hit.
