Maybe it's fair value, and some other RFA's have just been overpayed.

it doesn't really matter if other RFAs are overpaid. If that's where the market is set for a player of that quality, that's what he'll ask for.

Also even if you ignored all RFA contracts, there's no way he signs that cheap on a long term deal. He's not taking Kevin Hayes money lmao.

Boychuk is an important player defensively, and as a leader. He also has a NTC. Gonna have to eat that deal.
