Detroit does not have to add the zetterberg contract but it doesn’t hurt either team. Detroit has enough bad contracts to hit the floor and Ottawa goes above the floor with his contract so that they can move players out as the season goes along

Detroit's not trading what's basically a late 1st round pick, And no need to trade Zetterberg he cost's us nothing on LTIR and only cost us $1 million in real money.
