At first he was but he’s kind of hit a wall. Maybe a change of scenery could help or a better chance with a different coach since q is hard on younger players.

Monahan is probably worth quite a bit more than a first and a prospect (plus a third), and the Wild probably want more than two futures and a future pick for Brodin (even as a rental).

I'm surprised you're paying so little for Weegar, and for only 2 years. I have him pegged for $3.5 million or more for 4 or 5 years, because his free agency window opens in 2021. I would trade you Rickard Rakell plus for Weegar and your 2020 second.

I didn’t spend too much time on the own team but that sounds right for him. I’d rather keep weegar and use some prospects to get players that can compete. It wont happen here but I’m hopeful. I figured the trades were a bit off but it would be nice to get those guys or similar players. Main thing they need to do is unload matheson so I don’t even care if carter reports that’s 5 million they don’t have to pay lol
