Description
Dubas won't trade the big 4, so trade Johnsson to clear cap he's probably worth more then I traded him for but whatever Leafs need capspace, sign Shattenkirk and see how he does over the year, if he doesn't do well trade him at deadline for a RD man or trade him for Draft picks then play Dermott on right-side till the season end. (Also I want to see how Lehtonen would do therefore that why Dermott is a scratch)

I agree, who do you think they should target then for around 2-2.5M? Was having trouble finding one in that range.

I’ve heard Shatty doesn’t like Canada and the Leafs don’t need worse Barrie anyway. I’ve heard they’re interested in Gudas, he’s like the defense version of Clifford (gritty, not what you think about as a classic Dubas guy, but Dubas is evolving and Gudas has good underlying numbers to boot so he’s not just a thug). Florida’s trying to cut costs so they don’t make that deal but somebody else will, I can think of several teams that would be very interested for that price and a few that would take him at that price just to try their luck at flipping him for more at the deadline.
