Hurricanes fan here. Yeah no we are definitely not trading away Jaccob Slavin, especially not for a forward as overestimated as William Nylander.

Without getting into a discussion on the value of each trade -- you did a good job targeting the type of players that TOR needs. They need defensively responsible players that will go to the dirty areas and not only rely on their hands and skill to win games for them. Sanheim, Slavin, Konecny, Faksa are the kinds of players that would make TOR a great team. Unfortunately, I think only Faksa is a realistic option for TOR -- maybe Sanheim, but I'm not too sure. You're targeting the right kind of players, but just not the right players.

I wouldn't do Konecny for Marner 1 for 1 based on cap hits. Marner's cap hit is a trade killer to a team against the cap, unless you are taking a big contract back.
