calgary wouldnt want Johansen at all

If rumors are true that he is willing to take less to find a good situation to play - competitive, has a good role, likes the city, whatever else it may be - then I think NSH has a shot at Hall. He has said he liked playing under Hynes and had his best season playing for him. I wonder if that has any potential to interest Hall. I'm not sure about the rest of the moves here, but Hall to NSH could be interesting.

There is a lot to like about a Johansen/Calgary fit...

Good at face offs
Good possession metrics
Supremely talented

But his production vs. cap hit leaves a lot to be desired, and he seems like the type of guy you'd need to follow around with a cattle prod to keep him motivated at all.
At least he's acquired for a very low price in the above proposal.
