Description

Deal proposed by @Shesterkin_next_GOAT . I think this is a great deal for all parties. Bozak gets to go to a team that looks to compete next year and take the D-Zone draws for Zib and Chytil. Blues clear cap get a center that fits their two way game mold and could develop into a perfect 3C behind ROR and Thomas. We’d put him in Springfield to start on a line with Kostin and hope they can help each other.

Bringing in that salary means also losing DeAngelo, Strome, Lemieux, or Buchnevich. So - essentially getting rid of 2 guys that played good hockey for the Rangers, for a 35 year old question mark.

Strome easily outproduced Bozak and has chemistry with Panarin, and will come in around the same cap hit for next season.

I'd much rather do Howden, 4th for Bozak (with retention). (As this would assure he'd replace Howden in the lineup, and not Strome or Chytil)
