Assuming we lose to the hawks and draft 15th Trade it to Ottawa

I would say thats pretty reasonable! We are giving the 15 overall and Puljujarvi which in my opinion could get a second for 3 picks, to get more then just one good player. That actually is a pretty cool idea, and Ottawa would then get the 15 pick to get a better player.. I think Ottawa might do that because they have like a million seconds. That’s definitely a good idea, that I never thought of doing.

Ottawa has almost too many picks so I can see them making a deal or swapping 2 for 1. Although come draft day incase they love a player they will need flexibility to move around the draft board.

What is interesting im guessing Ottawa might be a team that’s made an offer for JP.
I hear the ask is a 1st and prospect.
Turned down offers for multiple seconds.
I wouldn’t think twice from Ottawa’s perspective to gamble on JP for that ask. It was very obvious JP was being mishandled at every turn by the oilers. Still very young and showed his scoring touch again after leaving.

Not great value for Edmonton, not sure why they would do that.

#15 for #21 + #33 is ok if you don't particularly love someone at 15, but chances are there will be a top-10 caliber forward at 15.

And Puljujarvi for #52 is terrible.

I would do 15 for 21 and 33 in a heartbeat. As far as Puljujarvi for the 52, yah it’s not good but we are not getting full value for him, ever. The Puljujarvi trade I would like to see is for Bokk from the Canes.
