Description
I think that Q liked the way Hoss and Kruger played together in the playoffs, so I think Hossa will be slotted as a 3rd liner. I think Kane will move into the 1RW and bring up the young talent in Schmaltz much like what he did with Panarin last year.

Panarin is given a shot to "run" the 2nd line with Anisimov.

3rd line becomes the shut down line, creating scoring opportunities off of turnovers and puck possession.

4th line will change often and has the ability to do so based on health, hot hand, and opponent.

Do you trade Gus or Svedberg for picks since Pokka and Forsling are waiting in the wings? Even lower round picks can help increase position within a round.

They might as well hold on to at least Gus until after the expansion draft in case TVR is taken and the prospects aren't ready / Q doesn't like them. Forsling especially will still be very young and obviously wants no part in playing in the AHL. Gus is at least a a proven 3rd pair d-man.

Svedberg is not useful for the Hawks imo - he's Rozsival slow without the added hockey IQ / experience to make up for that on occasion. He's not as valuable as Gus likely is, but he'd be the one to dump now since he's 1) not as good and 2) no longer waiver exempt.
