Description
Tryna see what we can do with cap space. Really don't know what Murray's contract is going to look like with his current play.

Meant to put 7 years with Hall my bad.

I hope Addison can make the team but if not Trotman/Ruwhedel can play, or we can sign a D still got cap space (Although McCann will probably get more money).

Done at deadline. Is this enough for Kap? Desmith value is probably 2nd-3rd, Bjorkqvist is a 2nd round pick + the 3rd

TOR easily says no. DeSmith already went through waivers, so no way he's worth a 2nd or 3rd in terms of value, maybe a 5th. And what the hell has Björkqvist done to be worth a 2nd+3rd? He has 1 point in 6 AHL games after having a meh College career. He's probably a 5th round pick value. Kapenen isn't worth 3rd+5th+5th.

Good signings, all pretty fair (Hall likely gets more though, and Muzzin likely gets closer to 5) but that trade is a yikes, Bjorkqvist has nothing but name value anymore, Desmith is worth a late round pick and a third is a third lol

he's the AHL goalie of the month and an NHL caliber backup.
Now goalies don't retain a huge amount of value. But he's worth more than a 5th that's for damn sure. He most likely gets a 3rd back a 2nd if there is a decent market for goalies.
As far as Björkqvist , he's been playing hurt all year. Which is why he only has 6 games.

DeSmith is likely worth a 3rd or 4th. Don't forget, when he was waived it was before the season opener. GMs are finicky and like to see what they have and what their current roster can do to start the year before the blindly spend. TOR didn't expect their back ups to be awful going into the season, no GM/team ever should, that's why nobody took DeSmith. He is a NHL back up with limited pedigree so he wasn't worth jumping the gun to acquire. Now Toronto has a need for a back up so they will have to pay as any team would. I still agree that the trade isn't enough value from PIT but I think youre undervaluing DeSmith and the poster is overvaluing him a bit.

I admit I may be over-valuing Desmith, but I just feel a back up is extremely important. Without a dependable one TO will keep dropping games, and Andersen will be overplayed and be burnt out when playoffs come. Plus if he gets injured Leafs season is done.

What would it take to get Kap back (assuming Desmith is going the other way) I just though a First + desmith was too high, and since pens have no 2nd round pick, I put Bjorkqvist + a 3rd.
