Most realistic location for hall to end up imo. 2nd 1st should be conditional on hall resigning.

Honestly, I could see Carolina doing this. I don’t know that NJ accepts that package though.

If I’m them, I want a more established prospect maybe with top-6/top-4 upside. Think Stone trade from last year

Funny to think that a week ago when someone made a Leafs ACGM, it was instantly shot down because the pieces being offered in a TDL scenario were not enough. Former MVP requires more is what was said.

Fast forward to tonight and this is the second ACGM in which pieces being offered compared to the ACGM from last week.

Not criticizing you....just a general observation of people on capfriendly.

How are you planning on making up the 1.3M over the cap you are?

What can I say lol, people hate the Leafs.

In all seriousness, personally I haven’t really considered a Hall trade until recently and kinda formed my opinion on it just looking at this. It occurred to me and Stone and Hall are in similar situations (one obviously being a former MVP, but still top line wingers about to enter free agency).

Lets not forget too that Brannstrom was a top-10/15 prospect in the game at the time on a team that wasn’t totally full with young defensemen.

Honestly, I don’t see Hall getting traded. I think NJ will start putting it together and stay competitive until the very end. However, I think they’ll miss and have to deal with him as a free agent
