I wouldnt trade much for Ristolainen, maybe Lowry and a B-prospect with a mid round pick but that's it.
I certainly wouldn't be trading Ehlers, Roslovic or even Perreault for him. They really need to just ride this out and see what happens, Ristolainen certainly isn't saving this season for the Jets.

It’s accepted, though we don’t have a place in the cap to take Perreault, maybe some other player from Buffalo is returning in the opposite direction.

Too bad that isnt nearly enough for a young RHD with term. I cant fault you for not wanting to trade Ehlers but that is what it would take to trade for Risto. GM set a high value on the kid and wont move him for anything less than top 6 forward. Doesn't make se se to trade him for anything less considering the market for RHD and the fact that buffalo has no reason to trade him other than to improve on offense
