I guess using Matthews as benchmark really upsets all reality . He shouldn't be paid the second paid player in the league. Why not use RFA 9.5 Kucherov, the league MVP as benchmark.

But using Matthews as 11.634m bench mark.....I would have to put Point, Aho and Marner as 11m players.

I would have went a bit higher with tkachuk, marner and Laine. Yeah I get Laine had a crappy season and he is a bit one demensiobsl but he is a goal scorer.

I still don’t put marner that high, Matthews is far better and makes his own offence.
