I think Nuge is better than both those players individually. I wouldn't do this trade because 1) it means we can't play McDavid and Draisaitl together, and 2) we don't know what JP might turn out to be. I think to solve the Top 6 F the Oilers could sign one through FA that'll cost below 6M. Then you have a bonafide 1st and 2nd line with McDavid + Draisaitl and another with Nuge + Top 6 F.

1 guy at <6 mil isn’t gonna make a great line with nuge, you would need a third member of that line cause they won’t be like Mcdavid and Drasaitl where the 3rd guy doesn’t matter

you've got draisaitl who's a 70-80 point player, McDavid at around 100, nuge at about 50-60, and another guy around 50, I think that'd be a good top 6. Sprinkle in a couple 30-40 point guys who would benefit from playing with 4 really good players and I think that'd make a good forward group. Oilers need more 30 point players
