Description

I've taken this into alot of consideration. Listening to Steve Dangle and a bunch of my older colleagues, I think im on the boat of Mike Babcock isn't the one to lead this team. Taken into consideration that him and Auston don't get along, he has this huge ego around that he is the best, and His refusal to play the stars more/rest the stars on certain nights has me bewildered. This thought goes on on his relentlessness to keep Gardiner-Zaitsev together, even tho they are defensively a mess, and his stubborness to try AND stick to new things for then a period adds to it. Now He obviously knows more then anybody here.. he should lol, he gets paid for it.... But that 1 playoff round win in the last few years still rears its ugly head. Thoughts?

My opinion he cost the Leafs game 7 last year with his losing line matching he likes to play . He's done less of it this year thanks to have three good centres. HIs message to the players is either wrong or doesn't get the players attention. I'm all for a coaching change, and the decision likely is going to take place in April, not May or June. Whether Shanahan will fire the coach is the question.

I still think he won't get fired unless its another first rounder exit and Matthews again isn't happy. What bugs me too is that he is brilliant but he does such dumb **** that it erks me. that "let them play" mentality almost won them the series against the Caps a couple years ago, and now were here trying to "play his style". and be another first round exit

Matthews didn't score, Nylander disappeared, Kadri was suspended for 2 games, and four of the Leafs 6 D could not have played for Vegas, Nashville Winnipeg or Washington last year...
...and you want to blame the coach?

And Matthews was Injured during the series.
