The kraken have plenty of space this off-season wouldn’t be surprised if they resign him for 2.050-2.2M.
Some notable UFA’s are Jones and Donato. For RFA’s. Sprong, Geekie, Borgan, Daccord and Lind are possible players to resign. Don’t think it would hurt to much to resign Soucy.</div></div>
Soucy would be perfect for tampa as the defensive longer term option instead of cole.. him and cernak would be the shutdown pair. for multiple years... cole is just a band-aid, not to play it off too much but the state tax does help especially compared to washington

Barb might sign for less for term and state tax and be on a contender with a consistent goaltender.. idk maybe I’m wrong about Barb

That’s what was agreed to start the season but the revenues have been higher than expected so it’s possible to see an increase of 3-5 million instead according to many media outlets but nothing will be released until the draft

They did not role last year or the year before.. sergy regularly has not had a set partner in playoffs.. which makes his development even more impressive

Hedman-rutes
Sergy playing with anyone (savard barely saw the ice and bogo and schenn regularly scratch)

I’m sure I’m wrong about the specific players involved but the idea is normally what jbb does.. but as a Tampa fan who thinks one of the most overrated players in the league is killorn, I’ll just be happy if/when he’s gone.. he should have to pay cirelli 50% of his salary for carrying him all these years.. and now Paul

I think Tampa has shown they aren’t afraid to find discount players if it means their top 9 is better and their top 4 d is enough.. because in playoffs that’s normally all they use

Tampa goes 7 d all the time.. bogo is the extra.. I just don’t think I’m far off to what Tampa will look at.. at the tdl.. a permanent replacement for killorn.. think Havel for palat.. and a more stay at home d for the right side to play with Hedman

Fleury and myers are not in tampas future plans and that is obvious by the scratches and being sent down and jbb has shown he’s not ok with just looking at this year
Peeke is cap certainty and foote is not.. also foote needs to be able to free flow and peeke is more of a stay at home.. which one sounds more like a fit with Hedman or sergy.. the reason Perbix has worked with sergy is because he understands he’s the supporting cast not the main Character in that pairing.. the reason why foote hasn’t is because he wants to jump in the rush and handle the puck more and that’s Hedman and sergy job
O and cole and cernak is the shut down pairing before you say they can play with foote to allow him flow more

I don’t think you’re looking at the cap space correctly for next year.. everyone walking is replaced with cheap players.. with this move your top 9 is set and tampa has 11 mil in cap space with seabrook on ltir.. because cap friendly doesn’t auto do that for future cap space

Then a top 9 forward who needs more nhl development because has done everything he can in the ahl

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>HOCKEYBOY448</b></div><div>I’m praying Foote can take a massive step forward this year. We also need to start thinking about another top 4 LD for once Heddy starts to slow down. Having extra guys developing and waiting in the wings will only help. Good thing down the middle is both Point and Cirelli are still pretty young so that’s the center position for at least another 6-7 years. Problem I see is higher end talent on the wings. Can Colton and Hagel be that for us? Problem with them is they’re going to be expensive to keep long term. I’m hoping Howard will be that, but he still could be another 1-2 years away. Not sure how else we can get that NHL ready talent to contribute immediately without getting lucky in the draft.</div></div>
I am not on the colton wagon like everyone else. one goal doesn't define a career. he's extremely lazy and always out of position coming back.. please move him for anything.

Given the latest news from Bettman about the cap jumping I’m cautiously optimistic that things can get better and there’ll be more wiggle room to improve the depth of the team.</div></div>

Agreed.. as a tampa fan, it is very apparent that this team is exhausted and just don't have the depth, not to mention getting every teams best when they play. As a fan for decades this fanbase has been very spoiled lately and one bad year to reset and maybe by chance get a lottery pick isn't the end of the world.

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Boltsradynasty</b></div><div>This is an extremely senseless combination of trades. Please rationally explain why TB does either move?</div></div>
Killorn is not part of the future and i think tampa is in a position to allow some more room for younger forwards. didn't show on here but i do think not 1 but 2 are ready out of camp. therefore he's expendable and killorn would only allow certain teams because i believe he has a m-ntc.
If foote isn't top 4 by mid season i think it may be time to move on from him for a younger forward thats maybe not working on their team. Foote bothers me with his decision making. he has all the attributes but for some reason can't put it together.
