That's your first problem. The Pro-Hockey Group and the Capfriendly scouting tool in general are not worth anyones time, if I'm being totally honest. It is full of hobbyists who mostly don't know what they are talking about. Anyone who does know what they are talking about wouldn't say that about Nazar. Third line floor? Maybe. No one is ever a sure thing, but he solidly projects as a top 6 forward as much as anyone.

Way too early 24-25 playoffs prediction
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>mokumboi</b></div><div>I'm sure they will try, but this is a 75 point team. Getting up around 100 next season is quite the jump, especially after so many people thought they'd do it this season and they faceplanted hard.</div></div>
I think that's will gonna happen like at game no 82 or something like that.

do they go far
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>seanrushton</b></div><div>My main problem isn't with the Rangers or the fanbase it's with the way the team is constructed... relying on elite goaltending and finishing just isn't a good way to build team</div></div>
I mean if I could control how the team is built, I’d make them better at 5v5
But all their players are locked in with term and no one will be moved, so the recipe for success is built around elite finishing, goaltending and special teams

Can’t see the Canes only getting a late first and a third in 2025 for Necas.

Value is probably fine but Friedman saying that he thinks the Necas and the Canes are done holds as much weight to me as when he said that the Canes were trading Pesce this summer - it's his speculation. Does he get info from agents/FOs, yes. Could Necas still be moved, yes. Is this what makes the Canes move him, probably not.

Typically with Necas I tend to think, "what would I want to move Nick Suzuki" and then I just stop myself from posting Necas trades.

Celebrini to Utah with the help of Bettman
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>palhal</b></div><div>Population of Metro Salt Lake City...1.2m. Population of Utah 3.3m. Population of Metro Phoenix 4.9m. I just wonder if Salt Lake has the population that will support an NHL team with 14,000 people paying NHL prices for tickets. Plus Salt Lake doesn't attract snow birds that currently buy tickets in Arizona. Thinking after the initial excitement, Salt Lake City will just be another Phoenix,,,,but they do have a nice arena.</div></div>
Well with 4600 seats at the Mullet, there aren't many snowbirds buying tiks there either. Utah might benefit from winter sports enthusiasts (skiers, boarders, etc) buying tiks. But yeah, with an NBA team already there, makes you wonder if there are enough sports dollars to go around. Larry Miller will have his hands full 4 sure

Carolina Hurricanes signed Jackson Blake (3 Years / $925,000 AAV)
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>NorthernLeafsFan05</b></div><div>And just like that, the Canes get ANOTHER top prospect under contract. In Blake's DY, he was playing High School hockey before he ended the season with the Chicago Steel, which is just a huge testament to the talent on the Canes scouting staff. Blake is a LEGIT prospect, getting him in the 4th round and now securing him with a contract was huge for Carolina. Their future is genuinely incredible, what a fantastic move.
Interesting that this isnt a future ELC. Not convinced he's going to be a guy the Canes lean on in the playoffs, maybe he gets a few games down the stretch just for the sake of getting him playing. Regardless, this is a great signing</div></div>
Not only that…he was barred from playing varsity hockey in Minnesota in his Sophomore year until end of January since he changed High Schools very late in the process (when he didn’t make NTDP, he returned home from Shattuck). And he didn’t play senior year…so it was just his junior season (and half of sophomore season).

He's honestly quite possibly one of the most delusional Canes fans... take it with a grain of salt. Buch can land Necas yet he thinks we would need to add a few firsts simply cause Necas "has 8 years of control"
Kyrou for Necas+? Maybe.

Think they’d rather buy Kotkaniemi out than spend a 1st to be rid of him.
I don’t think he’d be that hard to move as long as they’d be willing to take back $$$.

Nikishin is 6th for skaters so he's pretty high IMO. I love his game and he could easily be 4-5.
idk why I put goalies with skaters I should change how I do them
And yea Blake honestly should be higher but all of the guys ahead of him so are f----g good too. Really the top 75 is so stacked. Like the fact Nate Danielson is 82nd is just crazy

Aidan Hreschuk is a Columbus prospect, he was traded for Domi a few years ago. I always feel bad saying things like this when people put this level of work in though.
Also, where's Jackson Blake?

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>seanrushton</b></div><div>I think you can rework the AAV on some of these contracts to get them to fit but these were just my guesses.
6-6.5 Seems about like what Necas is getting... Tippet is good comp and he got $6.2
Noesen seems like he wants to stay in Raleigh and there is a history of people resigning for a lot less than what they could have gotten on the market with the Hurricanes... just look at Aho
Skjei is probably about $.5 to $1m off and about 2 or 3 years off
You can replace Martinook with somebody for that cap hit that does the defensive shutdown job</div></div>
For sure, I didn't think anything you had was crazy, just my slight tweaks. I think Necas will want Bratt type $
I don't disagree that there are players who would take a discount to play with this roster/city, but you can't really compare Aho/Noesen. Aho was already set for life and was getting 'FU' money from anyone. Noesen's never been paid, won't get much term and it could be the last chance he has to cash in.
The KK question was for Caniac2000.... I fully agree with your take that he's likely gone.
