<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>CMcAvoy73</b></div><div>He led all d men in goals last season with a good two way game. He’s a number one on most teams.

As i figured, there are only two logical conclusions here:
1. You don’t know who chychrun is
2. You’re a troll, and a pretty good one at that.
I’m leaning towards the latter, but either way, i have no use for you. Smell ya later lady</div></div>

hahaha scared and running away are we? :D :D :D :D :D incredible (that is why I dont argue with kids on internet ... they start losing and run away) ... already wasted a lot of time (and time is money) on your lazy stupid childish ass ... I will finish you in style my dear. Do you know a player called Ryan McDonagh? I have a good comparable for you.

Let me take you back in time to 2014, this guy has already established himself in the league and is playing close to 25min per night in regular season (pretty similiar to someone huh? except on a good team) :)
In the playoffs an average of 26:49 not on a good team .... a team that has managed to play in the FINALS. :D :D :D so hopefully we can agree that the guy is a stud ... and wait he is on a new contract :O at 6x4,7M per (second year). :O quite a good contract huh?
so this guy plays a solid hockey right? :) and guess what 4 more years of absolutely solid and consistent two way play ... 23 22 24 24 TOI in those seasons they trade him at the deadline in the last year still having 1 more on his contract... at 4,7M :O
The trade is as follows:
to TBL McDonagh + JT Miller
to NYR Namestnikov, Howden, Hajek, 1st, 2nd
astonishing right? :O your ass must have gotten a lot tighter right now eh? :)

Lets break it down to pieces, shall we? and compare while we are at it.... like I said in the first couple of comments ... my trade proposal is not final and I would like to discuss smaller tweakings in positive attitude (then you called my offer ,,worlds away,, ,,really poor offer,, ,,It’s a really bad trade offer,,) and remember this trade actually happened xD it is a fact not an opinion
we will leave the Miller vs Crouse argument for later
NYR GOT MY OFFER COMPARISON
Namestnikov vs. Montour = good roster player, still youngish(maybe tradeable in the offseason for 2nd and 3rd?), Montour gets slight edge in value
Howden vs. Tippett = good prospect drafted in 1st round, Tippett already has a spot on a good FLA team, waiting for the breakout year,
whole career has been more valuable than Howden (tradeable for later first?), Tippett gets slight edge in value
Hajek vs. Heponiemi = high draft position, will probably lead nowhere, I dont even care where the edge is here, I thought this piece would change in suggestions
1st vs. 1st = self explanatory, or? you need to argue?
2nd vs. Vatrano+3rd+7th= 3rd and 7th are kinda similiar but Vatrano? surely tradeable at the deadline for 3rd or 4th, maybe even resigns in ARI and gets traded for pick later?, easy spots for grabs
to me this seem like a similiar value
now JT Miller is miles ahead of Crouse ... I dont even feel the need to compare the values
CONCLUSION:
Remember this trade actually happened, and JT Miller is heads and toes ahead of Crouse (I dont even see the points of discussion here) so I see it as a completely legitimate starting point for Chychrun and already a better offer than NYR got for McDonagh. :D
You may call this offer is kinda lowballish maybe, but trying to be realistic (especially what would a NHL GM realistically give up) and like I said I wanted to discuss the tweaks with you guys, instead got your stupid and needlessly aggresive comments mr. know_it_all_and_yet_not_very_knowlidgeable, without you even knowing the contracts and the reasons why they were included, trying to take the fight to foreigh grounds. :D
So consider yourself proven wrong my dear. :) If you want to sincerely apologise for calling this offer /xyz/ then go ahead. If not, you dont have to waste words. :) Have a good one sweetheart.

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>CMcAvoy73</b></div><div>If the emojis are a troll, well done. Makes you super annoying. I feel like I’m talking with a toddler in more ways than one.

But again, where did i say he wouldn’t be able to play 20 minutes with the coyotes?

Where did i say three firsts? I said two firsts.
It’s a lot of value, but an asset like chychrun coming on the market is a once every 20 year thing.
Clearly cap isn’t important to me? Lady, that’s the whole point of this. Chychrun’s contract is fantastic.
I don’t think you know who chychrun is, nor do i think you’ve paid any attention to trades in the NHL over the last…well, ever.</div></div>

The feeling is mutual dear sir! :)

In terms of value you are asking for 2 firsts ... Lysell who is another 1st ... DeBrusk flippable for 2nd ... and that is not a done deal yet just a proper offer my man :D so I guess a must take from ARI side is in your opinion 2 firsts Lysell as a first and another value of first if Debrusk as a second is just proper offer? :D Are you kidding me? Seriously some people heree (you especially) should wake up! This is completely ridiculous value for Chychrun and NO GM will do that. :D If one would ... he would get axed next offseason ... I dont know what it is with people highballing every player here lol. :)

So let me get this straight ... with trades in recent years (dunno like 10?) Chychrun is the most valuable trade target? Without even shedding smth like the contract of Moore? :D You really had me laughing hard on this one. Are you one of those kids playing NHLxy whole day? Cause your estimation of REALISTIC really comes close to EA :D.
ARI is gonna keep him for another year and his value will go down to like 1 first one good prospect (worth 1st) and trade him after a year or 2 of trade requests etc.

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>CMcAvoy73</b></div><div>Do you think using emojis strengthens your argument?

Anyway, this offer equates to a 1st, a 3rd, a mediocre young roster player, and some fluff/cap dumps. Ya, every team beats that, and i would hope you realize there is room between that junk, and four firsts.

At face value, he should net a return as good, or better than eichel.
Then factor in that most teams can find a way to absorb 4.6, while few could absorb 10, and all of a sudden there are a lot more teams bidding. Then factor in that chychrun doesn’t need some surgery that most of the teams in the league wouldn’t approve, and there are even more teams bidding.

Chychrun, if he is truly made available would be one of the most valuable assets on the market in the cap era. A return should look something like a 1st, a true top prospect, and a solid roster player on their ELC, plus either a 2nd or a 1st depending on the strength of the other assets.

I think there might be a direct negative correlation between emojis used and strength of argument.</div></div>

Emojis ( :D ) strengthen the fun I am having with reacting to your downtalking xD and if your opinios on arguments are as those on hockey ... please keep them to yourself ... not really needed in hockey trade discussions :D On the other hand ... if you would approach such discussions with a positive attitude and help change or upgrade them ince you are heree ... the discussion might actually lead somewhere meaningful. ;)

I understand fully how a bidding war could get out of hand... but the thing you forgot is no GM is gonna bid like no tomorrow especially with the current climate of GM firings.... 4 in last couple of months? So please do not underestimate the conservativism of current GMs. Nobody will give you 2 1sts just like that :D. Either contending teams already dont have them or the middling teams are too scared.
Also trading away the best player in the deal usually wont bring back what he is really worth (I think you should already know that if you follow hockey for a longer while and ,,hockey trades,, are rare nowadays so dont expect already contending teams trading away valuable roster pieces. If nobody screws up that is. ;)

I agree he is worth a lot ... BUT ... I am still waiting for the concrete offer .... it takes some time to put up but I am sure you can manage to find a team with all those pieces just waiting to get rid of them ... with a big hole at top 4LD position. :) Or are you starting to see the difficulty with your asking price? :D Till you find a proper team with all the pieces and a REAL NEED for top4 LD on (very nice) 4,6M contract ... dont waste my time darling. ;) (even though I am having good fun with such an EXPERT :O)
Oh and since you like emojis and I am a rather smiley guy ... here you go :P :) :O :D :D :D :D

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Dutchies</b></div><div>LOL, everyone is gonna ask for Lundell, and I'm sure FLA doesn't want to give him up. I wouldn't be surprised if Montour was included he didn't report. he didn't want to be in ANA for a rebuild, he wasn't happy in BUF either. ARI would be a trifecta that would drive anyone crazy!
Either way, any team dealing for Chych will have to give up at least 1"A can't miss" prospect and a first to get him. Other peices will also need to be included, but that's the core of the trade.

A lot of people on here keep saying he's not gonna get what was commanded for Eichel, but those people also seem to forget that Eichel is $10 mil against the cap, and needed neck surgery prior to the trade. That depreciates the value for any player, not to mention the shovel job his agent did on the Sabres organization. Chych is a top pairing scoring machine that can play 20-24 min a night. I personally think his return could be better than Eichel.

Any team that is serious about Chych knows that they'll have to give up pieces they don't want to. Otherwise my Leafs would have already traded a first, Nick Robertson, Travis Dermott, Jake Muzzin and Nick Ritchie for him :)</div></div>

1. hahaha yea :D trifecta made me laugh ... unlucky guy... and yeah I agree with basically everything ... I just think it is not in any teams best interest to give up a ,,cant miss prospect,,
One would have to convince Montour to come and play those like 20-25 games till the offseason with full motivation and then guarantee him to trade him someplace good for like 2nd and a 3rd rounder?
I think Tippett+Montour+1st would do very nicely as the core of the trade (after some back and forth maybe even + Denisenko ... but I think that big of a package would bite FLA right there)

2. well he hasnt been particuraly great this year ... Eichel kinda was even in Buffalo and boy oh boy did Vegas get him with a lowball offer ... so yeah ... can it happen that Chychrun brings in more of a return than Eichel? sure (though I wouldnt bet on it) ... would it be a wise move? dont think so

3. I dont think TOR needs chychrun with healthy Reilly and Muzzin ... if anything they would need right handed chychrun (like giving up Sandin? why trading him away when he could very well be Chychrun given more time to grow... and not needing to give up like 2-3 1st rounders on top of that)
I dont really think Chychrun would be that big of an upgrade on Muzzin right now also... especially in the playoffs... sure cap would be sweet but cmon.

I still remember that 2015 draft ... sometimes you are like ... ok this guy must have had great interview or combine... I thought Zboril was an ok pick at that stage ... maybe a little reach ... then came DeBrusk and I am like what are they doing? probably could have had him or a similiar prospect somewhere in the 2nd round ... and then came Senyshyn pick, my mouth feel open and I was like WHO? that could have been an early 3rd rounder? omg 3 mid first rounders and they got away with Zboril, DeBrusk, Senyshyn? then came some vulgarities probably :D fun day for sure ... as every draft

completely agree with holding out to draft, but I dont think they should withold the trade past the offseason ... the drama usually wont help any team and the guy is IMO starting to lose motivation (sure he plays a ton but cmon being -29? that is too much man... Ghost is having a rebound year on the same team playing like 2,5min less per game, Chychrun is great young guy, great contract, but he obviously needs change of scenery and there are probably no teams willing to pay 3 firsts for him)

some insider said they are looking at Burns trade for comparison
so yea ... not a BOS fan, but Chychrun kinda feels like a good fit on BOS and I wanted to have a little fun with it (been also thinking about MIN ((check how they buyouts line up with Ch. contract, INCREDIBLE fit!)), FLA, NYI, STL, WSH maybe even rebuilders like NJD, ANA, LAK, DET? man there are a lot of suitors...but then again rebuilding teams are not really pushing for it now ... so they are probably willing to play a waiting game as much as ARI, hence I think Chychrun will end up on a contender?)
