Everything ive read indicates that he will. He has no B game, literally only good at shooting. Too risky for a top 5 pick for the sharks that we need to hit. Going back to this comment i would now shuffle around Demidov ahead of silyayev and dickinson

1st, Celebrini to hawks, 2nd Levshunov to sharks, 3rd, Demidov to Ducks cuz they need wingers as they're set on C, 4th could be Lindstrom if habs get that 4th overall slot, then 5th Silayev or Dickinson for CBJ</div></div>
The sharks definitely need one more superstar forward and I would argue that non of the D are as for sure a high end NHLer as Lindstrom. So i genuinely believe that Sharks board would be
Celebrini Lindstrom Levshunov Silyayev Dickinson Demidov. Lindstrom i think has the ideal profile that Grier is looking for.

who would be the right fit for at TDL
I think the only player who has any trade value is Savard.
I'd say a 2nd and a mid-tier prospect for Savard retained.
Hats off to Hughes if he can get a decent return on anything else.

Columbus is in the exact same boat. The exact same. We've perpetually lacked and continue to lack elite offensive producers, and when we get one (Panarin) then don't stick around. Since Johnson has that potential, there's just no chance we move him.

Both players have the same type of offensive potential, but I think Zegras is a better fit for the Habs than Johnson because he already have a natural chemistry with Cole Caufield. But, the trade offer should be bigger than that.
Also, I don't see Davidson decide to give up on Johnson, they have more chances to firing Vincent before trading him away.

Hypothetical
Pettersson ain’t goiing nowhere. Vancouver have a history with Swede players, they have couple more young swede coming and Pettersson will extend there. I would love him in a Habs jersey but this ain’t happening. Even with that kind of offer.

I WANT ZZZZZZ
All Leafs fans are probably going to rush in and say:
DOSTAL.
He just ate us alive last week. He is 23 years old.
Now Fowler is a great prospect. But the value just isn't there for Anaheim to trade Zegras.

the way Slavs play would you for Zz
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>SLAFSQUATCH</b></div><div>I understand why you wrote it, but Z is not proven or a star. His contract would reflect it. As it turns out, Ducks management had their reservations as well.
Habs point of view, his improvements have been steady and exponential. Sky is the limit as he looks more and more like a dominant player.</div></div>
We though the same thing about Nick Ritchie, and truthfully, that's more what Slaf looks like at the moment. Iginla and the likes of dominant power forwards like him had much larger impacts when they first entered the league. Slaf is on pace for what, 28-30 points this season? Z put up 60+ his freshman and sophomore years. Sky may be the limit, but showing up on the scoreboard to prove why the team went off the board to grab you 1OA needs to happen.
As to Z, he's also still improving. His play away from the puck this season is night and day different than in past seasons, and he's a pretty safe bet for 80-90 point seasons in his prime. If you are Anaheim's front office, and you look at this trade proposal, you don't take it unless Montreal adds a hell of a sweetener.
Slaf will be an NHL player with a lengthy career, of that I have no doubt, but right now it's not clear at all if he's going to be a top line star, or a good middle six piece.

Anaheim declines. As good a prospect as Guhle is, he's not as attractive to the Ducks as he would be to most other teams since Anaheim has such a solid pipeline on the left side, and a future first and a cap dump aren't stellar elements, either. Something like Mesar, Mailloux and your 2024 first is the kind of offer that would probably be necessary to outbid other teams.

Anaheim declines. I love Guhle and think he is a Verbeek type player but would still need another high end piece with him and a 1st for Anaheim to consider it</div></div>
Thats because Joseph is having a good preseason. Anyone who watched the game last night saw what he can deliver. He is not a cap dump, he is a good role player. Lots of speed but hands of stone, plays a 200 foot game. The only reason people were saying that is because Ottawa has a cap crunch and he stands out because of his AAV playing middle 6.

You undervalue Guhle, ANA shouldn't because of the prospect depth they have on D but, Guhle has serious potential to be a #1D so it would be a potential #1D for a potential #1C

Avs need a backup goalie
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>F50marco</b></div><div>Being honest here, Girard is obviously the best player in the deal but i would not do this if Im the Habs. Where's he going to play exactly?
Matheson
Guhle
Xhekaj
Hutson
Barron
Reinbacher
Mailloux
Savard
Not even including Kovacevic and Lindblom who'd have to be moved to make space this year. I see a spot for Girard this year only but starting next year there is no space.
My goodness, just moving Desmith to the Avs alone for a pick would be fine. No need to make a mountain out of a mole hill in any Desmith trade.</div></div>
Even thinking optimistically from the Habs POV where everyone develops reasonably well, Girard is easily better than at least 5-6 of those guys both today and in 5 years.

He can play both sides and plays over 21 mins per night so hes getting top 4 minutes. They may have to move him or Manson (probably Manson) next offseason to make room for Toews but it doesnt make sense to move him now when they have the cap space for him

Avs aren't moving a top 4 D to get a backup goalie. If they want to trade for a healthy backup they can get one for a late round pick (or free from waivers) and keep their D core intact

My 2023-2024 CH lines
I'm agree with you for Newhook. He never be in a offensive lines in Colorado. I know RHP is not the most offensive player but I think this lines can scores some goals. I also think Cole-Suzy-Dach is the only lines who can be a "first line".
Yes I also prefer put Guhle on the left side. But, Harris can't do the job at right and I think Barron needs some games in Laval. With the Lindstrom trade that can give more time to Barron to develop himself.
Thanks for your comment!

Yes only 1 or 2. The season starts in October so Christmas is only 2 months. The timelines told are often exaggerated too. Look at when McAvoy and Marchand returned last year, they were expected to be put until new years yet they had played 23 and 28 games respectively by January 1st.
I bet Montour will be back by early November and Ekblad by at latest early December

Awesome congrats. Honestly I stay away if I'm Zito not a big fan of his d-zone play or the fact he'll be 36 for most of the season. Knight is not in the player assistance program anymore so his cap hit counts Montour is only supposed to be out til mid-late November that would be an utter panic move. Personally I ride it out .

It is not many Wings's fans but one Wing's fan, who values the likes of other less talented players. He is ridiculous and and trolls Wing's fans
