Rebuild
I think the first two trades are pretty fair.
Playoff Silfverberg is fantastic (0.89 P/GP in the past 4 seasons and is very defensively sound), and most 2nd line wingers go for a first and a few picks/prospects (similar to Evander Kane and Tomas Tatar trades). He's stuck on a bad team and has been injured for a bit, so his points are low, but he is definitely worth a 1st and a good prospect. Valimaki isn't crazy good (wouldn't call him A+), but if Flames really like him, the Ducks should get someone of similar quality in return.
I think the Henrique trade is fair if you are assuming he falls off in a few years, leaving Colorado with a potentially overpaid player. However, if he stays healthy, then Colorado gets a steal. It's a decent bet to make since they have Ottawa's 1st. That being said, I think the Ducks need him next year with Kesler's future being in question, so I'm not sure that they make this trade.
The next 3 are pretty bad, in my opinion.
First of all, Rakell is worth a lot more than two firsts. Unless you're assuming that both of them are going to be top 5 picks, it's not worth it because Rakell is a proven top-line winger capable of scoring 30 goals. You can't say that about mid-to-late 1st round picks (assuming EDM makes the playoffs). Not to mention, he is on a super cheap deal for years to come and the Ducks plan to rebuild around him for the future. Throwing in Spooner makes it worse, because you're basically asking the Ducks to pay millions of dollars for an AHL player. There's no way the Ducks make this trade unless the Oilers throw in a lot more.
Unless Eaves comes back and starts scoring at a 30 goal pace again in the next week, no one is going to pay for a guy whose body is weak and is probably done for his career. He's a great guy, and you feel for him, but he doesn't have any playing value left.
If Miller comes back, then I can maybe see it happening, but he has under-performed all season and probably isn't worth more than a conditional 7th if a team really needs someone. He was claimed on waivers after all. Arizona definitely wouldn't take him. They're not in the playoff race, so they're definitely not going to give away picks for a backup goalie who is only going to play a few regular season games this year.

Don't like the Henrique trade. Miller is still a good backup when healthy so the Ducks could just resign him and lose nothing. Also, you don't pay more than a 3rd for a backup anyway, and Henrique is worth more than a 2nd and a 3rd [equivalent backup goalie value]. Also, I wouldn't rush any player from this draft unless it's Hughes or Kakko. If the Ducks get Cozens, it's better to let him develop for at least another year, so they would need to keep Henrique at 3C.
I was pretty excited for the Ducks to bring in Terry and Steel this year, but after the start we had I learned that it's better to develop players than to rush them. That being said, I think the Henrique trade/Cozens call-up could be very feasible in a year or two.

Big Anaheim trade
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>BiscuitBakesandHotTaeks</b></div><div>Hmmm I think you are underselling how awful of a contract Kesler is. It’s so bad, if you add it to Rakells deal, it makes Rakells deal a bad contract.
Either take Nylander or guhle out, or retain on kesler.</div></div>
Giving the Ducks Sobotka is basically a $3.5M retention on Kesler, since he is also past his prime and can't score.

Big Anaheim trade

Take out Nylander/Guhle and sure.</div></div>
It's not an overpay. Rakell is a proven 1st line winger on a cheap deal. You can't say that about Nylander, Guhle, or the 1st round pick, so you need the combo of those to even it out. The Kesler/Sobotka swap makes sense to offset the cost of acquiring someone similar to Rakell, which will cost a lot more than the $3.8M he is being paid.

Can Only Go Up From Here
Although Gustaffson is a good defenseman, I don't think Anaheim makes the Chicago trade. They already have a good top 4 (their top 2 LDs are better than Gustafsson), and they have good defensive prospects coming up who are gonna need a roster spot. Also, the Ducks are going into retool/rebuild mode, so they aren't going to give up a 1st round pick for a 26-year old defenseman and a bottom tier prospect.

Big Anaheim trade
I'm an Anaheim fan and normally when I see a Rakell trade on here I get pretty frustrated because he's such a good young player on a fantastic deal and one of the core pieces to rebuild our forward group around. However, your trade actually makes me think. I think the valuation is pretty fair, because even though we're taking a big hit up front and our defense isn't really improving, the pick and prospects are eye catching, and you agreed to take the worse of two bad contracts (Kesler's is worse than Sobotka's). I'm a bit hesitant because I don't know if there will be enough of a supporting cast to help our rookies coming up in the near future, but if one or more of them show that they can handle the NHL workload with ease next year, then I wouldn't look back on this trade with any regrets.
Thank you for being one of the few fan-driven trades that actually makes sense!!

Ducks devils
Anaheim will never do that. Rakell is one of their younger guys that they are rebuilding around, and his deal is one of the best in the league for a two-time 30 goal scorer, which Anaheim needs since it's a smaller market with less income (they can't always spend to the cap). You would need to throw in a lot more to get Rakell. However, Silfverberg might even be a better pickup for the Bruins, since he is a proven playoff performer (0.89 G/GP across the last 4 seasons) and is very defensively sound, which fits in to the Bruins' system. A good deal for him would be a 1st and a few other picks/prospects (see Evander Kane, Tomas Tatar trades). Silfverberg might not have term like Rakell, but the B's won't have to trade a proven young forward like DeBrusk to get him.

OTT 1st
No way Anaheim does this. Jack Hughes isn't guaranteed, and even if he was, there's no guarantee that he is the caliber of Auston Matthews at the NHL level, which is what you would need to trade all this away.
Getlzaf is still a legitimate #1 Center in the league (although he would be 2nd in COL because MacKinnon is amazing). He led the league in assists per game last season, and is leading the team in points this year. His totals are only low because the team around him is so bad. Easily worth a 3-5 overall pick since he has term. (Assuming he waives his NMC, which he has said he won't).
Silfverberg alone would get you at least a mid-1st round pick this year, because he's a proven playoff performer (0.89 P/GP in the last 4 years) when he has a good team around him. Some comparables: (1) Kane got a 1st, 4th, and a prospect, (2) Tatar got a 1st, 2nd, and 3rd, (3) Nash got a 1st, 7th, and a few players. Again, he might not compare to their point totals this year, but he has in the past on better teams.
Folwer also gets you at least a top 5 pick. He is a guaranteed top pairing defenseman for the next 8 years, which you can't say about a top 5 pick, as they may never amount to 1st-line caliber. Shattenkirk got a 1st, 2nd, and prospect when he was traded.
To make this fair, you either need to take out Getlzaf or Fowler, and/or add in more picks/prospects. Or, to make it less risky for both sides, you could put a contingency that says if the pick isn't 1st overall and Hughes doesn't score 50+ points in his first year, then the Ducks get another 1st from Colorado as well as a few later round picks.

Duchene Trade
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Caniac2000</b></div><div>I don't like giving up Zykov, He's going to be a top line winger and Duchene isn't worth that right now for Carolina. If it was a prospect like Foegele or Gauthier (Add picks for the value) but I'm not a fan cause a futures top 6 of Aho-Wallmark-Teravainen Zykov Necas Svechnikov is just intimidating</div></div>
I think you're hyping up Zykov a little bit much. He's already 23 and still isn't a point per game in the AHL. He did have a good stint with the Hurricanes last year, but that was only 10 games, and I wouldn't expect that to continue long term. The Senators are going to want a good prospect, and I think his age makes him more expendable than one of the younger guys like Necas, since he has less room to grow.
