<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>gretzkyghosts</b></div><div>You are correct, Buffalo has a great line up and better future.
Buffalo will have two spots to fill next year, Girgensons and Okpooso.
Jost is a waiver claim and this could also be his final season with the Sabres.

That is three forward spots that could be vacant next year, <strong>Buffalo does not have to trade prospects</strong>.
Take out Girgensons, Okposo, and jost while inserting Savoie, Kulich and Benson and you will get even more excited.
Adding Konecny, and Laughton while making another hole at RHD (Jokiharju) is not good asset management.

The Sabres will probably continue stocking their prospect pool, signing players to team friendly contracts as Thompson, Cozens and Samuelsson did.
If a player does not sign a contract commensurate with the Buffalo Cost of Living, they will be traded either to fill holes in the line or picks.

<strong>"a dump"</strong>
This is refering to Olofsson?
So Victor scoring more goals over the past four seasons than Boeser, make Olofsson a <strong>DUMP?</strong>
Olofsson will play next year at half the cap hit as DeBrincat yet had one more goal than Alex last year, who played 500 more minutes with Pinto and Batherson as his primary line mates, this makes Olofsson a <strong>DUMP?</strong>Buffalo may trade him as they may have other forwards who can fill his spot who will be on ELC's, but he is certainly not a <strong>DUMP!</strong></div></div>

The only reason I said dump is because every trade I have done most of the buffalo fans say you are going to hate him on the 2nd line, or olofsson has no value and can't play 5on5. I see the 28 goals and agree but like boeser I feel either has very little value currently.

Would you say Connor is close in value to svech<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Caniac2000</b></div><div>Jarvis is 21 and already producing at a 40 point pace. Not many players score as many goals as Connor has by age 26, I think if the jets were contenders like Carolina I would be willing to do that. improves your team drastically. for instance by the time Connor was svechs age he had 3 30+ goal seasons, not saying he is better and obviously he is older but I think that is a reasonable deal. We as fans just have a hard time letting go of good prospects based on the what if factor, but when you can get an on average 35 goal scored for a player that might be a 2nd line 65pt guy but also could be an 80pt player. I agree and think that neither player is gonna be traded any time soon but doesn't seem like a deal that a gm would be crucified over.
