My Friends Kraken Roster
Right on, man! Mind you, this is a team that a friend of mine made after I read the lists of Exposed Players to him. Johnsson was selected on my expansion roster, because he was the "best player available" in my eyes. I was also considering Nathan Bastian, Nicholas Merkley, and Marian Studenic. Also in my expansion roster, I selected Troy Stetcher over Vladislav Namestikov. Also, Kyle Dubas was the one who signed the Dermott contract, not me.

Moving On
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>mokumboi</b></div><div>You're selling cheap on those VAN, WPG and PHI trades. Yikes.</div></div>
I mean, it's Buffalo. The organization has to sell cheap! The players, the management, and the ownership has let their respective values tank! No one in their right mind would want to work for, let alone play for the Buffalo Sabres after everything that has since came out about that franchise. Just think about how basically the Florida Panthers gave up the same amount of assets for Sam Bennett as the Boston Bruins did for Taylor Hall AND Curtis Lazar, who was actually producing during the very bad times. I know that next season, it would practically be impossible for anyone to willing sign or be ready to commit to this team, so what I believe they need is "warm bodies", these would be your players such as Curtis Lazar when the season began, on the fringe of the NHL when they arrived, looking for an opportunity.

You're right about Hainsey, I wasn't really thinking. It'd be awesome to see him behind a bench! I loved how Jayce Hawryluk played this year, and I love Scott Sabourin, because he's a walking, talking meme!

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>keep_ups12</b></div><div>I think Senators should draft Drysdale. Don't know why you need multiple centres</div></div>
My thinking here was that in some way, the Senators end up with these draft picks, and in my opinion, Drysdale and Byfield are the second and third best players in the draft, but hey, everyone can have their own opinion. I like the thought of a pure number one center man, rather than a debate between Logan Brown, Colin White, Shane Pinto, and Joshua Norris. I also love the idea of a top pairing right shot defense man in Jamie Drysdale,

I Do Not Want Compliance Buyouts
I actually don't want compliance buyouts either... it's just a get out of jail free card in my opinion, but I also understand WHY we are having them, because of the lack of revenue.

Keeping Toffoli
So, I'm assuming you're using the free space (Edler, Benn, Pearson, and Sutter) to re-sign Pettersson and the free space in 2021 (Eriksson, Beagle, and Roussel) to re-sign Boeser AND Hughes? What do you think the team will include then?

Lafreniere Holtby Pietrangelo
Call me crazy, but in some sick and twisted world, I can actually see the Alex Pietrangelo signing happening. Because it has been reported that he would not want to play in Toronto, but he is still relatively close to home. It has also been reported that he wants a long term deal worth big bucks, rather than the cautious option in our current situation of one to three years at lower value. The only issue that I can really see with this is that Eugene Melnyk would not be willing to pay that kind of money, but who knows, he might do it to try and make himself look good, but then trade him not even a year later!
Edit: Also, I do not believe that Ottawa would win the draft lottery. They'll probably fall to five and six, and probably select a Drysdale, Perfetti, or Raymond.

I think a different team would trade for Olli Maatta because in my opinion, he is still a top four defense man, and I also believe that Stan Bowman would sign Corey Crawford because of "loyalty" hence why he traded Artemi Panarin for Brandon Saad in what is regarded as one of the worst trades in recent memory, and he traded for Andrew Shaw, and so on. Although, I totally would buy Buffalo trading for Andrew Shaw's terrible contract and giving up a young asset in Tage Thompson for it, whom is a former first round draft selection and whom Buffalo acquired in the Ryan O'Rielly trade.

2020-21 Fitting Under Cap
Mathew Barzal would get something similar to the deal that Matthew Tkachuk received. I also have no idea what Ryan Pulock would get, but it is not a good idea to re-sign Andy Greene. He'll be asking for two or three million dollars, even though he is nearly forty years old. I would also at least try and trade a Joshua Ho-Sang, or Brock Nelson, or Joshua Bailey, but that probably wouldn't happen in reality.

Are the pegula the new melnyk
I would not say that the Pegula family are the "new Eugene Melnyk" due to the fact of Melnyk not willing to spend money, shoddy business operations, controversy after controversy, and the pure hatred from hardcore fans. Most casual hockey fans that I know cannot name any owner in the league, except for Eugene. The Pegula family certainly are not perfect though. Their treatment of long tenured employees, incompetence recently, and impatience are certainly not great. The known acknowledgment of Jack Eichel's "requests" do not help their image either, but hey, tons of sports teams cater to their star players. I view the Pegula family as their own breed. I've always wondered why players HATE playing in Buffalo, and like Ryan O'Rielly, "lose their love for the game" and "do not want to play hockey anymore", and I'm assuming the Pegula family is why.

Dallas stars
The only trade that I could possibly see happening is the Jeff Skinner trade, but with no draft picks included. This is because although the Dallas Stars have an alright prospect pool, the only untouchables are Mrio Heiskanen and Julius Honka. It would also be much easier for the Dallas Stars to submit an offer sheet for William Nylander because all they would have to give up would be a first and a third. You could convince Nylander by asking if he'd like to play with Benn and Seguin. Lastly, there's no way the Canucks are looking to add another terrible contract in Martin Hanzal's or another goalie prospect, especially for Dahlen.

Columbus blue jackets
Where's Ryan Murray, and why would Columbus trade for another defensemen when like you said "with Jones, Werenski, Murray, and Savard" while they have Carlsson, Markus, Prout, and Harrington in their system? They do have a point though how they only way that the LA trade goes through is if Bjorkstrand and Bittner either aren't panning out or LA needs to free up cal space right away. I also can't forget to bring up the price people are asking to take on Dubinsky's contract is at least a first round draft pick.

Do you think that you can sign TJ Oshie for three and a half million per season?! Especially when him and Kevin Shattenkirk are projected to be worth six and a half million per season?! Also, why would the Carolina (Hopefully they'll be moved to Quebec) Hurricanes would give you one of their best prospects in Sebastian Aho, a pure goal scorer for a washed up fringe starting goalie who's overpayed in Jimmy Howard?! But I understand your bridge contract signing and drafting defence men. :) Stay awesome!

Let's say Duclair becomes the pure goal scoring machine he was projected to be, and at this time Gologoski and McGinn are around their mid-thirties and being paid a lot of money. Cap dumps to teams that need leadership.
