Sujet: Lil Push
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>NoDeke</b></div><div>Its so true, i hope the young guys on Dallas are good enough to be a 3rd line soon cuz it would really help. I wonder if Nill has any tricks up his sleeve, i feel shedding radulov is a perfect opportunity to possible beef up the team. other than that not sure what ya do. Would trading Faska now somehow pay off now and in the long term? the whole klingberg things is an F show.</div></div>

Radulov's contract is luckily expiring this year so he's not going to be a "burden" for long. He was good, but he's clearly past his prime.

Klingberg situation is interesting. He's been a part of our core for over half a decade now, as it's natural he'd expect to get the same treatment as Benn and Seguin did in terms of their contracts, which were handed out to them immediately after the last year of it started. But with Klingberg they realized that A) Seg's and Benn's contracts are mistakes that started to hurt them before long and B) they need that money to ink our younger (and now better) talent in Heiskanen and Hintz in the past and now with Robertson and Oettinger this coming offseason. Klingberg, quite naturally, took this a bit personally, thinking that he's not appreciated enough to get signed with big money contract. At the end of the day Klingberg wants to commit somewhere for the rest of his career, but DAL also needs him this year for the playoff run, and Klingberg still seems to want to stay in Dallas. I think he'll end up as our own rental, but there are no winners in this situation where they've ended up. Only losers.

As for trading Faksa...I like the guy and what he brings to our bottom-6, but he's too expensive for the role. I'd be open to move him.
