I’m totally okay giving up a similar package to what Hagel got for Chychrun. Couple firsts and lysell. Sure.</div></div>
I think if they wanted to legitimately contend this year they would have to address both LD and center this deadline and they probably can’t do that unless they empty the pool. They question is do you trade 2 1sts and Lysell + for chychrun or do you try and sign Lindholm in the off-season with the way the East teams are in an arms race this year.

Looking at what Hagel went for Chychrun at least starts with 2 1sts and 2 prospects, there really isn’t a center available anymore since hertl resigned and Giroux saying he won’t go the bruins there really isn’t much out there, your probably right bruins might stand pat with the current market because they will have to over pay even for a rental like Lindholm.

I don’t know why a team in the west would do it but right now the only team who could claim him over us would be the capitals, also kinda just a scumbag move if these GMs don’t have the balls to offer sheet guys on teams with high cap hits then why would they do that

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>CMcAvoy73</b></div><div>I feel like you’re kind of forgetting what happened with pasta when he came up. He got the call up, and looked very talented, but very out of place.</div></div>
Pasta was also 18, Lysell will be 20. I would rather give Lysell playing time and have him work through the growing pains of a young player because if not I don’t know who you put up there on the first line, Steen? Not a first liner. Pasta? Now the second line sucks again. Smith? Looked okay on that line but why put him there when the third line is on fire. I would rather see Lysell turn the puck over and make mistakes for the first half of the season than sign a guy in the off-season. Inject some youth into the roster could be the boost this team needs, Seguin also comes to mind when it comes to taking a young high skill guy and go through a trial by fire, why waste his talent down in providence let’s see what he can do if he’s untouchable for a rental.

Bertuzzi
The bruins need a center not a winger.
Your explanation for if the bruins get Bertuzzi then Larkin will come to the bruins makes no sense he’s the captain of his hometown team he grew up idolizing why would he ever want to leave? StevieY would also be able to offer more money for him they will have plenty of cap room.

At that point we should just keep him he’s not what he used to be but he brings a veteran leadership presence to the fourth line and then you have to sign another guy to play fourth line, who are you gonna call up to play his spot Bhlid? Froden? …puke

We would have to pay to get rid of Foligno rather just throw him on the fourth line at least with guys like Huala, Forbort, Clifton and Reilly you might be able to get late round picks if someone needs a depth player.

Dream roster next year
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>CMcAvoy73</b></div><div>What on earth makes you think lysell is ready for the NHL?</div></div>
He’s most likely going to be playing in providence next year and if he’s a good as everyone says he is he won’t stay there for long what better place than to put him next to Bergy and Marchand. It seems every guy who stays in providence becomes a career 3rd liner. I could see a situation where he comes up like pasta after playing 25 games in the AHL and immediately contribute. Plus those preseason games he played he looked like he could skate with most of the guys who were playing, so now he’s got a season of juniors under his belt getting used to the North American rinks It seems like the bruins should give him a roster spot. The only problem is Cassidy has a problem with young players I would rather see Lysell play with the growing pains of a young player than signing a RW in the off-season. And again what better place than to put him next to the best two defensive forwards in the league if he makes mistakes. he’s a high skill guy who could put points up if he played with Bergy and Marchand.

Yes but I would not move a second and debrusk for him if your bringing in a center the bruins should move haula and debrusk isn’t getting traded at this point maybe in the off-season

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Jded</b></div><div>Lol I hope he's right! Manson went for a 2nd round pick and former 2nd rounder. I think it's fair to assume Lindholm is closer to a 1st round pick and former 1st rounder. Debrusk and the 1st fit that (though I do see why they'd be seeking a 1st that's younger than Debrusk). Rakell is likely closer to just a first, so maybe an overpay by only the 2nd round pick, and maybe a younger substitute for Debrusk. That said, I don't really know of a good substitute other than Lysell, so I see where the other fans are coming from.
Is Lysell looked at as a total stud? Last I checked he was having a fine year in the WHL around a point per game, but he wasn't like a standout top 25 guy in the WHL or anything</div></div>
Points definitely don’t tell the whole story with Lysell if you watch him he’s the best player on the ice for his team every game I think he’ll play in the nhl next year next to Bergy and Marchand

I don't see how it makes them better but at worst they're adding another middle 6 center, does it not strengthen them down the middle at the very least? Dvorak isn't a difference-maker but I would have to think he's better than DeBrusk.
Not looking to argue, just curious.</div></div>
Coyle was disastrous at 2c and the third line with 11-13-12 has been the best line over the last month, I don’t See Dvorak being that much of an upgrade over haula and with debrusk gone there’s no one to play of the first line it just messes up the whole roster.

Kunin is a solid player. Not sure why he has taken a step back this year. But Debrusk would likely fit Hynes system really well.</div></div>
I’ve also posted this before when Debrusk wasn’t doing anything and preds fans acted like I traded debrusk for Forsberg it’s funny how people change their minds every few weeks on this website

Nashville isn’t retaining anything on that contract and Douchene is overrated and over payed. OEL’s contract is brutal and they would not have retained that much. Blues decline
