They can’t just sign him. He has to go through waivers. Somebody else likely claims him before it gets to Boston.

I don’t think Krecji is coming back but didn’t Spezza say he would just retire if anyone claimed him off waivers with Toronto last year, theoretically he could do the same

I honestly could see teams still claim him even if he said that, why would another contender just let him go to BOS for free lol

I don’t know why a team in the west would do it but right now the only team who could claim him over us would be the capitals, also kinda just a scumbag move if these GMs don’t have the balls to offer sheet guys on teams with high cap hits then why would they do that
