Go down to the part about Boston and you can click on the link. But it says right In the description. “Bruins are back on the trade market, and may be using their top D prospect as Bait”.

Again not by anyonne reputable. The article about BOS was written by Joe HACKerty. The guy has as much credibility as Eklund. BHN is also the same place that Jimmy Murphy writes for. Murphy himself is also considered a hack, which goes to show the quality of "writers" the site has.

Agreed he is a 3C but did put up 60+ points this year. Maybe a team would take a chance for one year that he has another great year.

people said the same thing about Gudbranson, he's been moved twice now.
There is talent there, there is always a need for defense. This is an easier to move contract that people think.
He's a top 4 D man, His salary isn't bad for that and the term could be viewed as a good thing given that and the raising costs that will eventually be coming with a new TV deal.
Not saying LA is the right team for that, but they will be able to move him next year.

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>HockeyTownUSA69</b></div><div>We’ll see how Kappy works out in Pittsburgh playing with Crosby and Guentzel. His speed fits that line nicely!! Remember what happened the last time the leafs traded a super fast player that was alittle bit of an a*s to Pittsburgh. He ended up eating hot dogs out of the Stanley Cup!! I wouldn’t be so quick on that Take just yet. It could age very poorly!!</div></div>
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>mhockey91</b></div><div>I love how leafs fans love to dismiss kaps importance to their team now that he’s gone. I can’t wait till he rips 30 next year with Sid and you all look like fools</div></div>
yeah but kappy didn't lead his team in scoring for 6 years straight
if Kapanen scores 30 idc because we got good return for him, and he was never getting that chance with the leafs
he played an entire season with Matthews/Marleau and only mustered 20 goals and 24 assists - like idk where he's suddenly getting 40 goals with crosby lmfao
we tried him with Tavares and MARNER for god's sake, this year and it was SO bad he absolutely killed the entire line and had to be relegated to 3rd line duty where he scored at like a 15 goal 40 point pace and was a ghost in the playoffs with a first and secondary assist (2 points)
he's also pretty bad defensively, so, have fun guys, I hope it works out but goddamn idk lol

You do interchange top 6 forwards all the time. During the game, they play and switch playing with each other throughout most of the game. The top 2 lines are out there with a lot of combos usually. Same with the bottom 6. No coach I know, puts a 3rd line player onto the 1st or 2nd line during a game. Maybe if it’s an injury. Or he is playing well. Or someone is playing bad and u to move him down. But you most always wait till the next game and start him out playing in the top 6 pairings. Accept injury.

potential 2021 world Juniors team Canada re do

Yeah the problem is that Canada is just super stacked. If Laf doesn’t go I think this team except with Krebs over Holloway or Wright 100% (and imo Lapierre over the other, but that’s debatable) will be the squad, which leaves off obviously both Holloway and Wright then, as well as the reigning WHL scoring champ Beckman, and other top prospects that you would assume are locks in most years like Pelletier, Rees, Suzuki, Zary, and Jarvis.

Robertson is American, and I highly doubt Legare has a shot to make this team given he wasn’t even one of the 27 forwards invited to camp lol

FIXING this SOFT Team and The HUGE holes at - 3C- Top 9 RW- 1B Goalie
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>HockeyTownUSA69</b></div><div>So did I. The whole Calgary team was bad. Good thing you’re not the GM or coach. Cause both JR and Sully see him as a 3rd line Center. And he was Replaced by Dereck Ryan last year in the play-offs. He’s a Center!!
And I’m excited to see what Jankowski does with the Pens and as our 3rd line Center. Most Pens fans are sleeping on him, IMO. Both JR and Sully are happy opening the season with him being our 3rd line Center too.
Janko is 26, 1st round pedigree, proven good two-way center and top PK player. He had 17 goals and 25 points his 1st year and 14 goals and 32 points his 2nd. Yes, last year he sh*t the bed. But it’s an easy year to write off IMO(for everyone..lol) and look at Sam Bennet’s stats. And look at last year compared to his first 3 or 4. It wasn’t just Janko last year. It was the whole Calgary team. Look at even Monahan and C.Tierney stats. But look at Bennett’s and Janko’s and you will see, it was the whole team.
Imagine if last year, he improved or just stayed the same statistically. He would’ve been a sought after free agent. The narrative would be completely different. A recent 1st round pick, coming off his E-L contract and 1st team, has had 3 decent years, ready for his 4th year and break-out year. Now, it’s a “show me” contract. Show-me last year wasn’t a fluke and you can get back to producing like your 1st two years. And maybe Calgary just mis used him. It’s only his 4th year, only 26 and Pens are his 2nd team.
<a href="https://www.pensburgh.com/2020/10/10/21510259/penguins-free-agency-recap-third-line-mark-jankowski-evan-rodrigues-jared-" rel="nofollow noreferrer noopener" target="_blank">https://www.pensburgh.com/2020/10/10/21510259/penguins-free-agency-recap-third-line-mark-jankowski-evan-rodrigues-jared-</a></div></div>
I wish I had the faith u did in Janko but he was replaced by Lucic as 4th line Center after the 3rd or 4th playoff game, then only played 6 min of TOI the 5th playoff game and then was Healthy scratched for the next 5 Playoff games for Zac Rinaldo.
So he was replaced by Lucic as a Center by a LWer then replaced in the line-up by an AHLer.... LMAO
BTW- C. Tierney plays for Ottawa

Best Players for Cap Compliant Teams
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>HockeyTownUSA69</b></div><div>Ok, all of my players are on there except my 5-6 expensive ones!!</div></div>
I guess congratulations on also being able to identify good deals? I’ve seen several with mediocre cheap players because they just consider them throw-ins so I figured throwing this together might help some people fill out their lineup with actual useful players and make more complete teams instead of 12 forwards that can’t play defense like so many of these teams, or adding a meh guy like Mayfield just because he’s cheap.

Bottom 6 or top 6 right?? What would middle 6 be?? The 2nd and 3rd line?? That makes no sense? It’s not basketball or baseball. The top 6 forwards are pretty much interchangeable. I don’t know what a middle six is, but either way, I don’t think M.Sorensen is one!!</div></div>
You seriously never heard middle six before? It’s players who aren’t quite top line guys and far from 4th line skaters players who will jump between the 2nd and 3rd lines, think Labanc or rust, Kapanen, Strome, Johnson etc. if they are on your first line your team struggles 2ndk line they are good 3rd line you team is killing it!
Sorenson is a bottom 6 guy with middle 6 potential! But I get what your saying and your making a fair point.

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>HockeyTownUSA69</b></div><div>No thanks. Jarry is a 25 year old, all-star goalie. Had better numbers than Binnington last year and the Blues had a better defense.
And Acciari has had Selke votes the last two years. And is tough. A perfect 4th liner IMO. Great defense.
I went and looked for cheaper 3rd pairing D. I found A.Pelech instead of Will Butcher. Saves about 2M. And DeMelo instead of K.Shattenkirk saves about 900k. It let me afford J.Gibson instead of T.Jarry at goalie. I’ll agree that is a big enough of an upgrade..lol.
It would be so much easier just to throw in C.Makar, or Q.Hughes or R.Dahlin or M.Heistanen or even A.Fox or J.Marino or M.Roy. Just one E-L contract on Defense would be a huge help.</div></div>

If Jost can take over 3C for the Avs this year and/or Newhook continues on his trajectory, then I can see Compher being available in the off season. Moving him now would be a bad idea though, as it would leave the team a bit thin down the middle.
I would think maybe a 2022 second would work for Colorado's side. It depends on what the market looks like after the expansion draft though and it's possible I may be high on the ask.
