<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>jgimp69</b></div><div>I think you need to come up with a better argument. Ville is always been touted by many to be a great prospect who projects as a T4 prospect. He was (rumoured) to be the one most sought after at the TDL and was called by a few (quantified) as the best prospect north of the border. He was one of the best players in the recent IIHF tournament and has always excelled at every level he has played.</div></div>

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Caniac2000</b></div><div>Heimosalmi and Morrow (Morrow in particular) has the ceiling of a top pairing defenseman. He's aware at both ends of the ice, and has the ability to move the puck like few others. His issue is that his floor is below the ECHL. He could very well not play professional hockey. He was rated by EP as someone that could have gone in the 1st round.

Heimosalmi was the player the Canes took with the pick they got for Jake Bean. He's been rumored to hav at minimum a 3rd pairing floor and being closer to NHL ready than many defenseman from his draft class.

That said, this is stupid. Scott Wheeler called Seth Jarvis the best prospect outside of the NHL last year. He was a point per game in 2 different leagues, and he's 19. He's already on the fringes of the NHL roster, and will make his debut pretty soon here. They're not going to move THAT kind of player for someone that's been in the rumor mill already. And if anyone wanted him (Heinola) that badly, he'd be on a new team by now.</div></div>

?? When was Heinola on the trade block? I know NSH wanted Heinola for Ekholm but Chevy had 0 interest

And Jets have no need for Jarvis.. it’ll take him a couple of years to make a real impact and by then Rashevsky’s KHL contract will be up

As for Heinola I expect him to force himself into the Jets blue line at some point this season
