I see that you don't know who Brandt Clarke is.
For that package, the RD you get from Los Angeles is Steven Santini.

Not bad, but I think the Kings are going to keep Arvidsson and roll with a 19 man roster.

Interesting deal.
Setting aside Tolvanen's slow beginning of the season in NSH, he scored at roughly the same pace as Arvidsson, less assists mind you. Tolvanen is an RFA after this year.
LAK saves some cap, SEA gets the "better" player, seems like a win win.

USNTDP is pretty much like playing for a team, they play something like 30 games.

What IS His Plan
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>GabeVilardiFanAccount</b></div><div>As much as I think it would be stupid to do so, they’re likely going to trade Brodie. Samsonov opting for arbitration opens another buyout window for Murray, so there’s an option as well if they have no takers via trade.
I am curious as to who’s going to play defence for this team though, as none of their recent additions are known for that. Treliving is also falling down the same rabbit hole the Penguins and Rangers found themselves in with Reaves. It’s an interesting scenario that is likely going to take a surprising turn one way or another.</div></div>
My wishful thinking is they're committed to 6 foot 5 cal Foote they have a deal in principle and just waiting to make room, just my thoughts.

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>GabeVilardiFanAccount</b></div><div>Touche. That is the perfect role for him. I had him in at a little more than Anderson, so the difference is pretty negligible.
A full season of top line minutes for Byfield, as well as significantly more exposure to the top 6/9 for Kaliyev should hopefully kick them into another gear. Still holding out faith for Turcotte, as I once was for Gabe, but he’s getting closer to his make-or-break season. If he can stay healthy he’ll surely get back on track.</div></div>
As you can see above, I also am a Turcotte truther, also Kaliyev and Turcotte used to play together so man that would be cool as a middle six line.

Looking forward to Ziemmer eventually slotting into that RW depth. I think that’s about all this team is missing, barring a big leap from Kaliyev this season.</div></div>
I think Roy understands his future is to be our Matt Greene, less minutes but should be able to shut things down for 16-18 minutes a night. I hope he will sign a 6-7 year deal which should bring down the AAV.
Ziemmer will need some time, lots to work on with his skating. Remember Danault and PLD are exceptionally good playmakers, I'm hoping they help Kaliyev, Turcotte, Byfield, et. all get into another gear.

Solid extension that is friendly for both the player and the team. With the cap rising this is nice value for a 2C with a very strong two way game.

If you trade Samsonov before an arbitration award, you can't buy Murray out.
And we DON'T need a goalie -- we have Cam Talbot and Phoenix Copley.

Toronto and LA have made good deals in the past could see something like Murray ret and pick for Arvidsson or something
Both teams have a want and in the past both know how to work out deals
Muzzin for Durzi + Grundstrom and 1st
Campbell and Clifford for 2 3rds + Moore

Bjornfot played 10 games with the Kings last season, he'll sacrifice whatever he can to get NHL minutes, this is his opportunity as Moverare has played a similar game and a cheaper cap hit.

What I Wish Had Happened
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>GabeVilardiFanAccount</b></div><div>Definitely wish the Kings had gone for McCabe last year. Would’ve eased issues on the left side for a few years now.
I’ve grown convinced that Vilardi wasn’t going to sign a bridge deal. There was no movement on an extension for the entire offseason, which makes be believe he was going to want out if we didn’t end up trading him.
He’s since talked about his discontent with the market here with Jets reporters, so I think the writing was possibly on the wall that Blake had to move him. But I guess that’s all just speculation for now.
I’m willing to give Dubois a chance though, at least for now. What’s done is done, and there’s no point in sitting and dwelling on it. I’m sure there’s a plan in place. Can’t imagine Blake is putting the phone away for the summer.
Could be worse. Lombardi likely would have traded him for a pending UFA and really screwed us.</div></div>
Aaahh, you remember the Anton Sekera deal too, huh?

As a Leaf fan, I wish the Kings had acquired McCabe....and the not the Leafs. He does have two years to be better than he was in the playoffs.
Leafs in effect traded Sandin for McCabe....think the Leafs lost big time on the exchange.

Toronto Maple Leafs signed David Kämpf (4 Years / $2,400,000 AAV)
Am I weird for liking this deal? Kampf fit in with the Leafs beautifully and has been our best penalty killer since he got here. He has been consistently good and paves the way for his linemates to succeed. When he had Mikheyev and Kase on his wings, they looked fantastic.
2.4 is a little rich, but I still like this deal. Glad Kampf is sticking around
