<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>FutureBruin63</b></div><div>Thoughts on trading for a winger this offseason? Panarin and Skinner are the 2 obvious choices, and personally I would rather Skinner.

Obviously Panarin is the more talented player, but it would cost us much more to get him. Asking price from CBJ would most likely be a high end prospect, roster player and a 1st, and that just seems like too much for a player who may not even resign with us at the end of the season. The goal would be to make a trade for a high end winger in order to compete with Tampa and Toronto, while at the same time keeping our window open for as long as possible. By trading for Panarin I think we would be sacrificing too much of our future, when we could give up less for Skinner and still get a very skilled winger to play alongside Krejci and DeBrusk. Asking price for Skinner is reportedly a 1st and a prospect, and we could negotiate a bit, maybe add a 2nd to the deal and end up giving up a less valuable prospect. Overall it just seems like trading for Skinner makes much more sense for us at this point, rather than cleaning house and getting Panarin.</div></div>

I haven't seen much mention of the asking prices for the players, but I'd take either. Skinner may be cheaper because he has a NMC, and from what I've read, has already blocked some trades this offseason. No idea if he'd come to Boston, but he'd be nice on the RW, depending on the cost. The Bruins can't be subtracting much from their roster though, if he were to come here.

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>FutureBruin63</b></div><div>alright listen. Horvat is better than Heinen, not denying that. Lauzon has got potential, maybe not top 4 potential but he could be a solid top 6 guy down the line. saying Studnicka wont even make the NHL though? thats just stupid. the kid has serious potential and is only 19, theres already been talk of him maybe making the team out of camp this year, and even if he doesnt i think theres a very good chance he could be in the league later in the season. saying he wont make the NHL is laughable, clearly you were just looking to insult a fan and picked the first name that you saw.

as for Juolevi, it still remains to be seen whether or not he can be effective at a high level. sure he went 4th overall, but he has struggled a bit in junior and so far has not lived up to the hype. not saying he is a flop, im just saying its a bit too early to tell just how good he will be (ie. will he be a top 4 guy or a top 6 guy). dont count your chickens before they hatch dude. draft pedigree doesnt mean jack **** until you can prove yourself. try not to "overvaluate your prospects"</div></div>

He missed my point many times. He ignores the stats that dont benefit him. I dont think heinen is better, the point was he is not, yet his numbers would indicate they arw closer than they are. Much like lauzon or studnicka not being in the nhl yet . Lauzon in particular, from what I have seen and read is ahead of zboril and almost made the team last year. He got hurt and struggled a bit. My entire point was that it was too much for horvat, who is on a bad team, but was playing with good players, probably better than heinen most of the year. I am not a fan of krug, hut he is young and under contract for two years and had 60pts last year. He is value.
